Meet Samantha DeBicki
Samantha Debicki is an actress, writer, and producer based in New York City. She grew up in Arlington, VA and performed at regional theatres in Washington, D.C. throughout high school. Sam earned her B.A. in English at Columbia University, where she also studied psychology, theatre, and Spanish. She’s remained in NYC ever since and is a core company member of Off-Broadway’s Theater Breaking Through Barriers (TBTB) and an acting company member of New York Madness.
Sam recently co-wrote a screenplay that was short-listed for the Clermont-Ferrand International Film Festival. She is a longtime producer for Urbanworld Film Festival and in 2018, she produced and acted in the inaugural NYC Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment “Made in New York” Screenwriters’ Showcase. Sam is also passionate about yoga (she teaches and leads teacher trainings), travel, and maxing out her NY Public Library Card.
